Talk to your veterinarian, trainer, friends and also see the SCpaw recommended reading list for a list of books that can help you decide which kind of rescue dog is right for you and your current lifestyle as well as books on training and understanding behavior.

SC p.a.w. will require you to fill out an adoption application and a home visit will be arranged.
